  • Daily Time Block, 3.2K views · 1.6K reactions | 10 Ways I Holistically Manage My ADHD 1. Body check first. Before I blame the task or the to-do list, I ask: Am I hungry? Tired? Dehydrated? Regulating my body helps regulate my brain. 2. I follow energy, not the clock. I don’t force productivity during times I know I crash. I do deep work when my brain is sharp and leave admin for later. 3. Rituals > routines. I build flexible rituals that support me instead of rigid schedules I’ll eventually abandon. 4. Everything lives outside my head. Whiteboards, sticky notes, voice memos. If it’s not externalized, it’s forgotten. 5. Movement is non-negotiable. I move my body daily—walks, stretching, cleaning, anything. It clears the fog and calms the restlessness. 6. I name my emotions. Emotional overwhelm is constant. Labeling it helps me stop spiraling and start responding. 7. I don’t do this solo. I lean on a few trusted people who get it. ADHD is isolating enough without trying to self-manage everything. 8. I use my strengths on purpose. I stopped trying to fix what I suck at and started doubling down on what I’m great at. 9. Boundaries. Period. If it drains me, it’s a no. I don’t owe anyone an explanation. 10. I celebrate what gets done. No matter how small. Recognition builds momentum. Shame doesn’t. | Sara Kelly ADHD Coach | Facebook August 13, 2026
